Esther's new desk

We got Esther a new desk from Omnidesk which has an electric motor allowing the table top to move up and down. Here is a picture showing her setup with the Lenovo laptop connected to the eGPU and monitor. Looks really clean.

Decided to move from PostgreSQL to SQLite to make the website a bit more portable. Since I was using SQLAlchemy, this was pretty simple. Just change the DSN and it is mostly done. There were a bit of SQL statements that were a bit specific but some minor changes to the code and all was good.

Esther and I met at Suntec after her classes to buy a new desk for her. We had a wonderful meal at Ramen Dining Keisuke Tokyo which serves really nice ramen. Look at my ramen, there is a face in there.

The following is a snapshot of the hard disk prices from Cybermind. It is interesting to see that large capacity drives are not as expensive as I thought. Jurong Lake Gardens

We finally took the time to walk to Jurong Lake Gardens. It has certainly been transformed into something really modern. It gave me the feeling of Bishan Park with its well landscaped greenery. Saw a kingfisher along the way there. We took a selfie near the lake. And a panorama.
