Esther's first attempt at macaroons

Esther made a first attempt at macaroons today which was rather successful. The shells were a bit too crispy and the filling a bit too soft and they certainly look the part.

Little Esther is no longer little having her twelve birthday party with her best friends from kindergarten. They had a BBQ in the afternoon ending with mini birthday cakes in the evening.

Pauline got a smokeless grill which worked quite well. So we can now grill just outside our door.
