Macaroons

Esther was making macaroons which tasted fantastic. Knowing that I like the shells, she made some specially for me. So sweet. The rest of the normal macaroons were great looking too. She used food markers to decorate some of them.

Esther made a first attempt at macaroons today which was rather successful. The shells were a bit too crispy and the filling a bit too soft and they certainly look the part.

Esther's birthday party

Little Esther is no longer little having her twelve birthday party with her best friends from kindergarten. They had a BBQ in the afternoon ending with mini birthday cakes in the evening.
