We had breakfast at a nearby sandwich shop called the Potbelly Sandwich Shop which was really nice. This was followed by breakfast round two with Helen and Pei Yan.
After the museum, we hunted down a place for the deep dish pizza. The place that we had it in the end was at Lou Malnati's which is considered to be the oldest family pizza business in Chicago. Our first stop after checking in was The Art Institute of Chicago which is this really modern museum with lots of art pieces. Here are some of them.
After a long drive which is all thanks to Helen, we finally reached Chicago at the DoubleTree Hotel.
We went a trip to Chicago and this was lunch :-) The food is actually quite good.
Pei Yen has joined us and we had a great dinner at Montgomery Inn. The ribs were quite good.
The infamous Panda Express orange chicken. It does not really taste that bad, but it is very sweet and the total calorie count is crazy high.
This is definitely a sign that you will not be seeing in Singapore.
Pauline and Helen made this really amazing looking dinner using stuff from Whole Foods.
We managed to get tickets to the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra's Holiday Pops event. So we started on our way early in the morning and as you can see from the photo below, Pauline is freezing. The venue is beautiful.
