The next day we went to the city walls which are still very well preserved in Xi'an.
We had a wonderful dinner tonight which has dishes which not only tasted good but looked very good too. Here is Pauline with a paint brush that can be eaten. They were really nice and gave out these windmills which are actually hair clips.

There is a beautiful pagoda at the top of Baota Mountain in Yan'an which holds a significance for the Communist Party in China. Yan'an served as one of the headquarters of the Communist Party in the past.
