There is a beautiful pagoda at the top of Baota Mountain in Yan'an which holds a significance for the Communist Party in China. Yan'an served as one of the headquarters of the Communist Party in the past.

The next morning we went to the train station bright and early to take a high speed train to Yan'an.
Saw this really cute car which is so small. Turns out that it is really a covered motorcycle (hence the 3 wheels).
The next stop was the Grand Tang Dynasty Ever Bright City where they basically placed LEDs on the old Tang dynasty looking buildings in central part of the city. It was quite beautiful.
Later in the afternoon, we went to Twelve Hours of Chang'an which is based on a TV series of the same name. It is a Tang dynasty themed indoor area. After the morning marker, we hopped over to the Daming Palace National Heritage Park which is situated at the original Daming Palace of the Tang Dynasty. Nowadays it consist of a park area with a small museum.
We woke up bright and early the next day to visit one of the morning market located next to the city walls. The produce were so fresh.
