Lunch at Soup Spoon

We have been having lunch at the Soup Spoon at Fusionopolis after Esther's art lessons for the past couple of weeks. She has grown very attached to her SG chicken soup.

The whole family decided to go to SAFRA for dinner at Sakura. The food was not too bad. We were early so we took the opportunity to take a photo.

Out of the blue, Esther drew a picture for Pauline and I. So touching :-) Pauline suggested that she get a nice phrase or quote for the art work. And she did, getting a nice one from the internet.

Esther saw a Merry go round at Westgate and really wanted a go at it. Everyone thought that she was too big for it but she insisted and had a great time.

Hard disk down

Had one of the internal 3TB drives fail on the new server which was part of a ZFS raidz. At least ZFS is working fine, the drive was marked as faulted but the system was still running in degraded mode. Took out the drive and replaced it with a 6TB and after 4 hours of resilvering, the system is back ...
