Esther and Theresa made dinner tonight and boy does it look and taste great. They used the Sous Vide Anova and it turned out great. They made the mash potatoes too from raw potatoes and the potato taste was really strong. Could do with a bit more butter but it was really nice.
We went to the Harvey Norman at Millenia Walk to take a look at the La-Z-Boy rocking recliner for our bedroom. They had a wonderful sale at 50% off and we got one. Along the walk, I saw this interesting structure outside the mall. And took a picture of Pauline on our way out.
Malvin is back from Canada and we had a lunch at Fish and Co at Vivocity. It was a great to catch up.
Esther has been thinking of making her wallet and she finally did it. With lots of help from Theresa, she spend New Year’s Day doing this and the end results are really good. She was even motivated enough to take a bus to Westgate to get the materials.
While Pauline took a short nap at the food court, I had a cold soup drink which was really interesting. It was not too bad and it came in this really cute small metal can.
On New Year’s Day, we went to Jurong Point to grab some lunch and walk around a bit. Pauline saw a claw machine and decided to have a go. Lok at what she caught 🙂 She was so happy.
Guess who is hiding below Pauline’s purple jacket? It was Donut which we secretly brought to the Airport to fetch Theresa.
We paid one last visit to the Gardens by the Bay for the year.
We got Esther a Tsum Tsum puzzle from JB that was constructed from plastic instead of paper. As plastic was stronger, the puzzle did not need any backing. Quite a cool idea.
