We finally took the time to go to Snow City which is really close to our house. Esther was really upset during Chinese New Year for not being able to go there but we have finally gone there.
While waiting for our photos to be ready, we decided to a group selfie. It turned out really well. I could not believe that this is ISO 1000 on the iPhone 5S. I thought that it looked very reasonable. Not bad for a little sensor.
We took a couple of pictures while waiting for boarding. We were wearing the new family T shirt which Pauline got from her trip to Hong Kong. It is the face of an owl and the kids are in red while Pauline and I are in pink and blue respectively.
On the day that we are supposed to be flying off to Gold Coast, Pauline and I were on full day leave so we took the opportunity to take the family out for lunch since our flight is in the evening.
We went to Lai Lai at Jurong Point which Esther adores.
Here are some pictures with the GX7 paired with the 20mm which is a very sweet combination, small and quick.
On labor day, we wanted to go to the zoo. But after reaching there at noon, we found the place swamped with people. So we beat a hasty retreat and decided to go to the Gardens by the Bay instead. I have always wanted to visit the Cloud Forest and Flower Dome and this was a good opportunity. The family was hesitant about going there but it worked out in the end and we had lots of fun. Pauline, Esther and I were happily taking photos while Ernest does what he likes best, playing with the iPad. Here are some of the photos. More to come.
Esther did a drawing of me.
Esther is turning eight this year on the 10th of March and she had a party this Saturday where she invited her friends. She had a lot of fun. She invited both her kindergarden and primary school friends over. There were lots of kids and they had lots of fun watching the magic show.
After a hair cut in preparation for the school re-opening, we had lunch at Streats Cafe at IMM. The kids love the food there.
Everyone loves the breakfast at the courtyard@heeren. The spread might not be large but the food is nice and there is something for everyone. And it shows in the photos.
