Ernest having a read after lunch.
After a hair cut in preparation for the school re-opening, we had lunch at Streats Cafe at IMM. The kids love the food there.
Ernest saw a clip on sun glasses in the store and thought that it looked really cool so we got him one.
He was so surprised that it could flip up. He was very happy with it.
What he does not know is that it is so out of fashion right now.
Esther observed that one of the slices of BBQ pork that she had was a hearted shaped one. She is quite observant.
We went to the Singapore Science Centre on Christmas day and had lots of fun there. The place never fails to get the kids excited.
One of the new things there was the Laser Maze which the kids absolutely loved. They had lots of fun with that, rolling and ducking all over the place. And they were not too bad at it.
We also had a good time with the Titan of the past exhibit which showcased many dinosaur bones and skeletons. They were very impressive.
The last item of the day was the fire tornado which got the kids really excited about.
All in all, we had a great day at the Singapore Science Centre.
Pictures are below but the quality is not too great as the lighting indoors was very poor and flash was not allowed.
Our inline skating instructor organised a ice skating session for everyone and the kids loved it.
We had fun painting Esther’s nails and she loved the final results. Not too bad for a first attempt 🙂 We painted little flowers as that was easy to do and it looked great. Esther has really small nails so there is not much of a surface to work with.
We did a bit of face painting together which is rather fun for the kids. They loved it.
Ernest is rather good with smaller kids and babies apparently 🙂
