Fake portable hard disk

I have heard in the tech news of fake portable SSDs and hard disks but this is the first time in real life.

Was browsing the local shopping sites for a portable hard disk as I needed to move some data between sites. And I chanced upon these unbelievably cheap portable drives going for like ~$40 for 2TB.

So curiosity got the better of me and it was a small cost, so I brought one knowing that there is a good chance of it being a fake.

And boy was it a fake, complete with poor label and added weight :-)
