Focusrite digital interface

For some unexplainable reasons, there appears to be some audio interference going on which is driving me nuts. There is this constant static sound. So I got a digital audio interface from Focusrite to see if that fixes the problem and it sure did. It did another thing which I was very surprised, it actually made the audio sound much better. As in clearly better which is really surprising. I had a Creative E5 headphone amplifier and that did not have much of an impact.

I got the set with the microphone so everything is routed via the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 now.
