Seagate Exos X14 12TB failed

The cheap Seagate Exos X14 12TB which I got off Newegg has failed. After connecting the drive, I got a bunch of connection errors which I attributed to the SATA port. Took it out and connected it via USB and the smartctl short test was fine. So I thought it was the SATA port.

Got a old Dell H200 card off eBay from a guy who flashes these RAID card to IT mode. Got the card after a while and it worked great.

The drive was fine initially but after a couple of days, it started to act up again and the pool is degraded.

So definitely the drive then. So doing a RMA later. Probably have to get another 12TB locally to restore the pool. So 3 out of 8 then.
