Genting Highlands

We had a trip to Genting Highlands with Esther and her kindergarten friends Samatha and Megan. Everyone works up early at 5ish to meet up at 630 at Jurong East for the bus trip to Genting Highlands. It was a very long trip with us reaching the place at about 3pm. The bus was really nice, it was spacious and there were movies and food on board so it was like a plane ride.

The place has certainly changed since the last that we were here many years ago. Here is a shot of the main area.

Nothing much done on the first day since we got there late. Had a nice dinner at the London Duck place and the kids went for some VR fun.

The next morning, we had a quick breakfast at the lobby of the hotel where the kids had instant noodles.

They then spent the entire day at the indoor amusement park. They had a really great time which ended in another VR experience.

While the kids were having fun, we went shopping and I had myself a nice ice cream cone 🙂

All in all, it was a good trip. The amusement park was really great for the kids and there were shopping and food for the adults. The only problem was the hotel (First World Hotel) which had a horrible self check in system and the rooms were ridiculously small. Definitely picking another hotel the next time round.
