Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary

After we landed at the airport and had a light breakfast, we headed over to the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary which is rather close to the airport. There we had an opportunity to get close to the wildlife and it was a great experience for the kids. Ernest was really looking forward to holding a koala bear but when he actually held one, he did not like the experience as the claws of the koala bear were rather sharp. There is a fair amount of ground to cover and we had a good time there. Here are some pictures.
