We got a Panasonic GX7 for Esther as she was very interested in photography. When we were at the Gardens by the Bay, she was full of energy taking photos. The Olympus compact that she was using does not really produce very small images. Using the GX7 brings back memories of the GX1. It handles great, very fast in all operations. Autofocus is fast and accurate. And the interface and buttons are in my opinion better than the EM5. And without the EVF bump at the top, a lot easier to get it in and out of the bag. So in general it is a joy to use. The images are comparable to the olympus so no surprises there. Will probably need to shoot more with it before I form a final opinion, but the initial feeling has been good.
