Had a bit of fun with Perfect Photo Suite 8 and Lightroom to create a more artistic looking image of a shot done at East Coast Park. Here is the final results of the processing.
I like the final results as it gave the original image more character, like an old deserted spooky place. The colours are still there but more emphasised giving it more punch.
The original image is shown below.
Esther and I had lots of fun creating this composite photo.
We had quite a lot of fun with polymer clay last December. Our previous attempt at polymer clay ended in disaster as it got burnt. This time round, we invested in a oven thermometer to check the temperature as it bakes. We were using a small second toaster that we got off Cash Converter for a couple of tens of dollars and the temperature fluctuate likes crazy. The temperature indicator on the oven is certainly not correct. We needed about 110 degrees celsius, so once the oven reaches about 120, we open the door and that cools the oven down. This worked quite well, just that we had to be there looking at the temperature but it is just for 10 mins.
Here are some photos of the clay craft that we did together with a couple of other clay pieces that we had done previously.
Esther wanted to catch fishes so we went to Qian Hu where they have a pond for kids to catch fishes.
I really like macro photography. Zooming in on everyday objects and seeing something different is always very interesting to me. Here is a picture of water droplets condensing on a glass.
It has been quite a while seen we have been to Chinese Garden even though we live very close. Since the kids were not doing anything constructive, we headed to the playground within Chinese Garden for some fun before lunch.
Took out the OMD and had some fun at the dining area. Enjoy 🙂
Saw some beautiful clouds from the lift lobby and decided to do some HDR on it. The following is the result.
Was at Bishan Park and did some photography there at mid day. There were some nice clouds and landscape so I tried out some HDR. Flowers and insects were a bit more lacking but there were some nice shots in my opinion.
